Floyd County Fair Queen
- Contestants must reside in Floyd County or an adjoining county if the majority of your
activities are in Floyd County. (School, 4-H, FFA, etc.)
- Contestants must be between the ages of 16 and 21, as of Aug. 13, 2026. The first day of the Iowa
State Fair.
- Contestants must never have been married or have had children.
- Each contestant must be an active member of at least one service organization in her community
such as a church group, Girl Scouts, 4-H, FFA, etc.(Eligibility is not limited to 4-H
membership.)
- Contestant may not be a professional model.
- The selected Queen must be available for Floyd County Fair Activities and Events, July 15-19th,
2026.
- The selected Queen must be available and able for radio interviews at KCHA and to participate in
community parades in Floyd County during her reign, the next Summer!
- All Queen Candidates will be participants/riding in the Charles City 4th of July Parade

Floyd County Fair Little Miss & Little Mister
- Contestants must reside in Floyd County or go to school in Floyd County.
- Contestants must be between the ages of 5 and 8, as of Aug 1, 2026.
- The selected Little Miss/Mister must be available for Floyd County Fair Activities and Events,
July 15-19th, 2026.
- The selected Little Miss/Mister must be available and able to participate in community parades
in Floyd County during his or her reign.
The selected Little Mister must attend the Little Miss/Mister Contest the following summer to pass their
crown/title.
Judging and crowning will be done Tuesday, July 14th, 2026 at 6:30pm in the YEC at the Floyd County
Fairgrounds.
